Work Permits

In order to work in Canada legally you must obtain a work permit. Typically, you need a job offer to be able to get a work permit.

If you do have a job offer, your employer needs to get Service Canada to approve your LMIA application. But there are some exceptions to this approval.

For instance, companies that want to open offices in Canada to transfer staff, or companies that want to transfer employees to a Canadian office can do so without receiving confirmation from Service Canada.

The process and exceptions involved in acquiring a work permit are complicated when tackled alone. This is where help from lawyer Ronen Kurzfeld, who services the Milton area, can benefit you. We have vast experience in every type of work permit and also represent companies that hire foreign staff on a recurring basis.

Remaining in Canada is not easy as you need to have legal status. Yet, things got easier once we started dealing with Ronen, believing and trusting his immigration expertise. We indeed relied wholly on him and his team, and they were very helpful when it came to paperwork. I continue to live with my husband and my daughter here in Canada, as I was able to get an extension because of the team’s effort. Thank you so much and I would surely recommend Ronen to anyone who wants to come to or remain in Canada.
